Description
Crispy and sweet banana fritters made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Oil spray for coating
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Add milk and vanilla extract, then stir until smooth.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Scoop small portions of batter and flatten them into discs.
- Place fritters in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Lightly spray with oil.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness.
- Adjust sugar based on banana ripeness.
- For crispier fritters, spray a bit more oil before cooking.
