Description

Crispy and sweet banana fritters made in an air fryer without using an oven. A quick and healthier alternative to deep-fried versions.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Oil spray for coating


Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Add flour, cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add water to form a thick batter.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
  6. Lightly spray the fritters with oil.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
  • Adjust batter thickness with a little more water if needed.
