Description
Crispy and sweet banana fritters made in an air fryer without using an oven. A quick and healthier alternative to deep-fried versions.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup water
- Oil spray for coating
Instructions
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth.
- Add flour, cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. Mix well.
- Gradually add water to form a thick batter.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Lightly spray the fritters with oil.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
- Adjust batter thickness with a little more water if needed.
- Serve warm for best texture.
