Description
A quick and easy party dessert made with bananas and cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup water
- Oil for spraying
Instructions
- Peel and slice the bananas into thick pieces.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add water gradually to form a smooth batter.
- Dip banana slices into the batter, coating evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Place coated banana slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray lightly with oil.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip halfway through cooking.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm bananas for best results.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before cooking.
