Description

Make tender and juicy barbecue ribs in your air fryer with minimal effort. This recipe delivers smoky, flavorful ribs with a crispy exterior.

Ingredients

  • 1 rack of baby back ribs (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp barbecue rub
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
  3. Rub the ribs with olive oil, then coat evenly with barbecue rub.
  4. Place the ribs in the air fryer basket, meat side down, and cook for 25 minutes.
  5. Flip the ribs and brush with barbecue sauce. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness (meat should pull away from the bone easily).
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra tenderness, marinate the ribs overnight.
  • Adjust cooking time based on rib thickness.
  • Use your favorite barbecue sauce for personalized flavor.
