A quick and easy berry crisp made in the air fryer using puff pastry for a crispy topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp turbinado sugar (optional, for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
  3. Cut puff pastry into squares or circles to fit your air fryer basket.
  4. Spoon berry mixture onto half of each pastry piece, leaving a border.
  5. Fold pastry over the filling and press edges to seal.
  6. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with turbinado sugar if desired.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
