Description
Crispy, cinnamon-sugar coated churro bites made easily in the air fryer with just 5 ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Pipe 2-inch strips onto parchment paper, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place churro bites in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, then roll warm churro bites in the mixture.
Notes
- Let dough cool slightly before piping to avoid burns.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Best served warm for maximum crispiness.
