Description
Crispy air fryer churro bites with a fraction of the calories. Perfect for a guilt-free sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Mix in vanilla extract.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe 2-inch strips onto parchment paper.
- Spray churros lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
- Toss warm churro bites in cinnamon sugar mixture.
Notes
- Use a zip-top bag if you don’t have a piping bag.
- Check churros at 8 minutes to prevent burning.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
