Description
Crispy air fryer churro bites made in a small batch for a quick treat.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp sugar (for coating)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Heat water, butter, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
- Let cool slightly, then mix in egg and vanilla.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe 2-inch strips onto parchment paper.
- Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Toss warm churros in cinnamon sugar mixture.
Notes
- Use room temperature egg for best results.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Serve immediately for crispest texture.
