Description
Crispy air fryer churro donuts are a quick and easy dessert. They combine the classic churro flavor with a soft donut texture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar (for coating)
- Oil spray (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- In a saucepan, heat water, butter, sugar, and salt until boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until a dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then mix in eggs and vanilla.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag with a star tip.
- Pipe donut shapes onto greased air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Roll warm donuts in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve immediately.

- Use a piping bag for even donut shapes.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- Best eaten fresh but can be stored for 1 day.
