A quick and easy recipe for air fryer churro donuts made in small batches. Perfect for a sweet treat without the deep-frying mess.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Roll dough into small balls and flatten slightly.
- Place donuts in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for coating.
- Toss warm donuts in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve immediately.
