Description
A quick and easy dessert made with fresh apples and puff pastry, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp apricot jam (optional, for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles or circles.
- Arrange apple slices on top of the pastry, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the apples.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with melted butter.
- Place the tart in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, until golden.
- Optional: Warm apricot jam and brush over the tart for a glossy finish.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith for best results.
- Check the tart halfway to prevent burning.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
