Description
Crispy, golden hand pies filled with sweet fruit, made easily in your air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 4-6 tablespoons ice water
- 1 cup fruit filling (apple, cherry, or blueberry)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
- Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into circles.
- Place 1 tablespoon fruit filling in the center of each circle.
- Fold dough over filling and crimp edges with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use any fruit filling you prefer.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes for easier handling.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
