Description

Crispy, golden hand pies filled with sweet fruit, made easily in your air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 4-6 tablespoons ice water
  • 1 cup fruit filling (apple, cherry, or blueberry)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)


Instructions

  1. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until dough forms.
  4. Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness and cut into circles.
  5. Place 1 tablespoon fruit filling in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold dough over filling and crimp edges with a fork.
  7. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
  8. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.
