Description
A quick and easy homemade lava cake made in an air fryer. Perfect for a rich, gooey chocolate dessert.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Whisk in sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla until combined.
- Fold in flour and salt until just mixed.
- Divide batter into two greased ramekins.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place ramekins in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Let cool for 1 minute before serving.
Notes
- Do not overcook to keep the center molten.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
