Description
A quick and easy air fryer molten cake with a crispy exterior and a gooey chocolate center.
Ingredients
- 4 oz dark chocolate (chopped)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Whisk sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla into the chocolate mixture.
- Fold in flour and salt until just combined.
- Grease ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
- Divide batter between two ramekins.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until edges are set but center is soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute before inverting onto a plate.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- Do not overbake—the center should remain molten.
- Serve immediately with ice cream or whipped cream.
