Description
A quick and easy small-batch molten cake made in the air fryer. Perfect for a single serving or sharing with one other person.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a microwave-safe bowl (30-second intervals, stirring until smooth).
- Whisk in sugar, egg, flour, salt, and vanilla until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased 6-oz ramekin.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until edges are set but the center is still soft.
- Let cool for 1 minute before serving.
Notes
- Use high-quality chocolate for best results.
- Do not overbake—the center should be gooey.
- Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
