Description

A juicy, flavorful steak cooked to perfection in an air fryer with a mix of fresh herbs for added aroma and taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-10 oz) ribeye or sirloin steak, 1-inch thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat the steak dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Rub olive oil on both sides of the steak.
  4. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, and smoked paprika in a small bowl.
  5. Coat the steak evenly with the herb mixture.
  6. Place the steak in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through.
  7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Adjust cook time based on steak thickness and desired doneness.
  • Use a meat thermometer for accuracy: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
  • Fresh herbs can replace dried ones for a stronger flavor.
