Description
Crispy and flavorful zucchini fries made in the air fryer with a parmesan coating.
Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchinis, cut into fries
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip zucchini fries in beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- For a lighter version, skip the egg and spray zucchini with oil before coating.
- Best eaten fresh; they lose crispiness if stored.
