Description

A quick and healthy Indian-style yogurt chicken recipe made in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken thighs (boneless)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin, coriander, oil, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add chicken thighs and coat well. Marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  4. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook for another 8 minutes or until fully done.
  6. Serve hot with mint chutney or naan.

Notes

  • Use thick yogurt for better marination.
  • Adjust spice levels to your preference.
  • For crispier chicken, cook for an extra 2-3 minutes.
