Description

A quick and easy way to make crispy chicken parmesan in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  5. Place the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Flip the chicken, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Serve hot.
