Description
A quick and healthy version of banana fritters made in the air fryer. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and naturally sweet.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or oil (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, flour, cinnamon, baking powder, honey, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the batter into the air fryer, leaving space between each.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Remove and serve warm.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
- Adjust honey based on banana ripeness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
