Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape into patties.
- Season both sides of patties with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place patties in air fryer basket. Cook for 6 minutes.
- Flip patties and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Add cheese slices on top and cook for 1 more minute.
- Toast buns in the air fryer for 1 minute if desired.
- Assemble burgers with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer. Cook in batches if needed.
- Check patties for doneness with a meat thermometer (160°F for medium).
- For cheeseburger sliders, use smaller patties and adjust cooking time.
